Austrian record champion

FK Austria Wien is the Austrian record champion. Official soccer championships have been held in Austria since 1911, but until the summer of 1949 only Viennese clubs determined the champion in the highest division. At the Ordinary Federal Assembly of the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) in the summer of 1949, it was unanimously decided to introduce an all-Austrian national league. The Austrian Football League has existed in its current form since 1974/75.
